Getaway for a week to the breathtakingly beautiful Roussilan region of France, this fully furnished 5 bedroom, 2 bath house sits at the edge of a medieval village (Caramany in the Pyrénées-Orientales province) overlooking a vast lake. The two terraces boast views of an 11th century castle, the lake and hillside vineyards and mountains. The area is the home of the Cathars and five of their castles (The Di Vinci Code) and is the one of the greatest wine growing regions in France. The area is famous for hiking, horseback riding, wine tasting and lovely Mediterranean beaches. The house is available April through October. It is 2 1/2 hours north of Barcelona by car and approximately a one hour flight from London or Paris to Perpigan (25 minutes from Caramany). (Expires August 2008)
