"Approaching Providence", is an oil painting by East Greenwich artist Marjorie Ball, the winner of the "Best in Show" award in this year's "Scenes of Rhode Island" art competition.  The painting portrays the backlit Capital City profile.  This piece is a signed and numbered print of the original, donated by Governor and Mrs. Carcieri.  The print is approximately 4' x 3'.
