Description

Peace Brother, 1979

Framed - Fine Art Poster/Artist's Chop

Holding Sean's balloon-filled hand, it portrays John and Sean walking through Central Park. John, the loving father, is spending time with his son. They are greeted by a fan (possibly the old John) and the new John offers him "peace, brother"

John Lennon was a renaissance man whose insights and perspective helped shape the sensibility of the contemporary mind. While music will be remembered as his most popular art form, he loved both his literature and his visual sides just as much. John originally studied to be an artist and attended Liverpool Art Institute from 1957-1960. Some have compared his style to that of James Thurber, though Lennon maintained that he wasn't familiar with his work.
