Artist Statement: Copper possesses a warmth and luster that is pleasing to the senses. On copper metal I apply, in a painterly fashion, acids and oxides to obtain natural patinas. I often burnish portions of the surfaces to achieve copper luster and an illusion of demension. to prevent further oxidation, clear acrylic and restortation wax are applied to the finished art.
