Title:  "The Circus Pin"

Artist Statement: With the circus there's always something happening at all eye levels, so the animals and clowns entertain us all over the pin. The surface was sanded then primed and coated with a base color of opaque red acrylic paint. Victorian images of clowns and other circus images were zeroxed on to computer paper, then finely cut using small precision scissors. Using glue, each character was then applied to the surface of the pin. Acrylic gloss medium for the final finish.
