An abstract painter, Jo Ann Rothschild has exhibited her work in New York, Boston, Chicago, Havana and Santiago de Cuba. This summer she will be showing drawings in Freiburg, Germany. In 1993 she was the first recipient of the MFA’s Maud Morgan purchase prize. In 1998 she received a Mass Cultural Council Grant in painting. She has lived and worked in Massachusetts since 1965.
