The pieces of this limited edition chess set are depictions of the characters from Fiddler on the Roof. Tevya and Lazar Wolf serve as kings while Golda and Yenta are paired with them as queens. Tzeitel and Hodel are the knights. Motel stands in two different colors as the bishops and the Fiddler as the rooks. Young boys and girls are the pawns. The highly detailed, hand painted poly resin pieces stand about 4.5" high. The inlaid wooden chessboard is 21" square.
