Oriental Dragon and Noshi Porcelain Vase Artist: Karen Grubaugh of Art on Porcelain Using a modern texture technique the artist designed a gold, platinum and bronze design to represent the ancient Japanese Noshi. The piece was fired at about 1400 degrees several times before it was complete. The artist lived in Japan and Hawaii as a child acquiring a deep love of everything oriental.
