First-Growth Bordeaux and Rated 94 points by Wine Spectator: Rich and round wine. Full-bodied, with very good fruit and long velvety tannins. Needs more time. Round and rich. This is always outstanding and underrated by many. Robert Parker says Deep ruby/purple, with a penetrating bouquet of cassis, this large-scaled, yet surprisingly approachable wine is bursting with fruit and extract. The finish is admirably long and persistent.
