 2003 Richard Perry Syrah Deep, opaque color. Aromas of dark chocolate, white pepper, with nuance of smoke and leather. The palate is loaded with juicy black fruits--blackberry jam showing excellent concentration.  The wine is stylistically akin to a Northern Rhone. Can stand up to the heartiest fare...pair with BBq-ed anything!
