Another great addition to your baseball card collection, a signed, Dave Winfield Hall Of Fame Card. Winfield retired in 1995 and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001, in his first year of eligibility. He chose to become the first player to choose to go into Cooperstown as a Padre.
In 1999,Winfield ranked number 94 on The Sporting News' list of the 100 Greatest Baseball Players, and was a nominee for the Major League Baseball All-Century Team.On July 4, 2006, Winfield was inducted into the College Baseball Hall of Fame in its inaugural class.
He currently serves as an advisor for the Padres.
