About the Artist:

 A native Houstonian born in 1954, Lionel Lofton likes working in a variety of media. Although he is best know as a printmaker, he also works regularly in acrylic, watercolor, pencil and collage. Sometimes he works in two or three different media at the same time. Though out his diverse works he bears his soul. Lofton holds a bachelor from Prairie View and a Masters Degree from Houston Clear Lake. The award winning artist’s work has been shown in major galleries across the United States.
