About the Artist:

     A native of Alexandria, Louisiana, Rev. Talley is Professor of Art at Prairie View A & M University where he has been on the faculty since 1975.  Rev. Talley’s subjects are diverse and range from traditional to contemporary.  Rev. Talley is a recent Fulbright-Hays Scholar to Africa. He received a Bachelor of Arts  in Liberal Studies from Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a Master of Fine Arts from Louisiana State University and a Master of Ants in Theology from Houston Graduate School of Theology. Works have been shown in numerous one and group exhibitions such as The Corcoran Gallery, Washington, D.C., Black Creativity, Chicago, Illinois, Huntsville Museum of Art, Huntsville, Alabama, Port Au Prince, The University of West Indies and many more.
