About the Artist:
“I am an artist who’s name is Margaret Warfield. This art journey that I am on, officially began in 1982, when I was commissioned to paint the “Estate Home” of a family in Lawrenceville, Georgia. With photo in hand, I began to bring to life a likeness of a valued memory of this family’s past. My journey as an artist has been one filled with the joy of sharing with the public, my concepts of reality. I think of myself as an artistic communicator, wishing to transform and extend perception and stimulate views toward new insights and expressions. All of my paintings contain elements of hope and love. Art is a language. It’s purpose is to open a dialogue between the art and the viewer, touching an emotion, remembering a moment from the past or simply bring a smile to the faces of the audience.” Margaret’s artwork has been judged best the Atlanta Dogwood Festival and has been the featured artist in the Black Heritage Festival Walt Disney World, Orlando, Fla.- ___________________________________________________________
