About the Artist:

Marcella Hayes Muhammad earned her BFA with honors at the California University a San Bernadino and went on to attain dual teaching credentials where she taught elementary education for 27 years. With over 40 years experience in the visual arts, she is recognized for her attention to detail, and her elegant colorful style. Marcella likes to work primarily with oils on canvas and has developed her own unique style of figurative abstract that she coined as “Plastic Space.” She has also mastered various techniques and media allowing her the versatility to bring to the viewer a variety of moods, emotions,  and beauty that she sees in everyday life.
