Paul Daniel Biography
Paul Daniel is an artist noted for his kinetic outdoor sculpture. He has received several permanent outdoor commissions including Messenger at Clifton T. Perkins Hospital in Jessup, MD and Venter at State Center Metro Station in Baltimore, MD. Babette, on loan to the Maryland Institute College of Art, is located at The Commons. Double Gamut, in Baltimore City and the Sun & Moon Arbors at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, MD are a result of collaboration with artist Linda DePalma.

Mr. Daniel's work has been exhibited in numerous venues including The Lillian Holt Center for the Arts in Baltimore, MD, Staten Island Institute of Arts & Sciences in NY, Franz Bader Gallery and the International Sculpture Center in Washington, DC. The Park School in Brooklandville, MD hosted the exhibit Paul Daniel- Kinetic Sculptures in the Pond. C. Grimaldis Gallery in Baltimore, MD has represented him for many years. He has received numerous awards for his sculpture, among them a Municipal Art Society Grant, MD State Arts Council Individual Artists Grant, the Henry Walters Traveling Fellowship and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship Grant.

Mr. Daniel is the sole proprietor for a successful exhibition mount making business. He designs and fabricates display mounts for various museum exhibitions locally and nationally. Museums include The Walters Art Museum, The Baltimore Museum of Art, Brooklyn Museum of Art in New York, National Gallery of Art in Washington DC and the Norton Museum in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Mr. Daniel received his BFA at Kansas City Art Institute, Kansas City, MO and his MFA from Rinehart School of Sculpture, Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, MD.
