Warren Linn Biography
Warren Linn has exhibited and done illustration since 1969. He received a B.F.A. from The School of The Art Institure of Chicago in 1968, attended Northwestern University Graduate School in 1969, and studied with Milton Glaser at The School of Visual Arts in New York City, the summer of 1977.
Print and media clients include Agency.Com, Baltimore Magazine, Baltimore Urbanite, Bloomberg Financial Markets, The Boston Globe, CBS/Sony, The Chicago Tribune, Esquire, Harpers, JMT Munich, The L.A. Times, MTV, The New Yorker, The New York Times, Newsweek, The Progressive, React Magazine, Rolling Stone, Time, The Village Voice, The Wall Street Jounral, The Washington Post, Winter and Winter Music.
Warren has exhibited his work at many shows at galleries in Illinois, Iowa, New York, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
He has published a children's book "Happy Birthday Frankie", appeared in countless publications and received many awards. Warren's work is in the collection of The Art Institute of Chicago, Pennsylvania College of Technology and numerous private collections.
Warren has been on the faculty of Parsons School of Design, Rhode Island School of Design, Bank Street College and the Maryland Institute College of Art.
