Michael Weiss Biography
An artist who has a long-standing fascination with the image and
meaning, Michael Weiss works with traditional oil painting materials. His current work is described as organically driven paintings constructed with a multitude of layers over time.
Weiss teaches in the Foundation and Painting Departments at MICA. His work is represented in numerous private and corporate collections and he has recently completed commissions for the KSI Montrose Crossing Development in Bethesda, MD and the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan.
