The Cadion boot is a Backpacker Editors' Choice Award winner for 2006. This boot designed in collaboration with world-class mountaineer Ed Viesturs is built for the trail. Some of the most notable features include underfoot support and protection from a full-length Timberland Agile IQ stability plate specifically tuned for hiking; a Gore-tex XCR lining for waterproof protection that also allows the foot to breath; and superior ankle support provided by a rigid memory foam cuff.
