Description

A great piece of art depicting Carnell "Cadillac" Williams in the 2003 Auburn v. Tennessee game.   Carnell Williams rushed for 185 yards and a touchdown and Jason Campbell threw for a pair of scores Saturday night as Auburn beat No. 7 Tennessee, 28-21.

The Tigers were tagged as the preseason No. 1 by some media outlets, but fell out of the rankings with September losses to Southern California and Georgia Tech in which they did not score a touchdown.

Auburn (3-2) built a 14-point lead in the first quarter and a 21-point advantage early in the fourth.

Casey Clausen of Tennessee threw for 355 yards and a pair of scores and moved the Volunteers to the Auburn 29 before he was picked off by Carlos Rogers.

Tennessee (4-1) could not establish a running game, finishing with a mere four yards on 16 carries.

Auburn marched 80 yards in 10 plays for a touchdown in the opening possession of the game.

Carnell "Cadillac" Williams was the most popular Tiger running back to hit the Plains of Auburn since the Immortal Bo Jackson. Carnell even broke Bo's career TD record with 45 TD's, and finished his spectacular Auburn career with 3872 yards and was drafted 5th overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL Draft and in his first year in the NFL Carnell won the Rookie of the Year award...
