Vermont is the "Class A" short-season affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Vermont's season runs from mid-June until early September with all players on loan from Washington. Because of Vermont's affiliation with Washington, players who play for Vermont one season may not be back for the next season. Only four or five players, on average, will be playing for Vermont in back to back seasons. The drive and determination of these hopeful professionals, can guarantee the competition is fierce night after night!
