This original painting by Sean B. Callahan conveys a beautiful image of a yellow lab in gentle repose. Sean is a watercolor artist whose works early in his career reflected his annual trips and artist residencies in Ireland and his awe of the natural landscapes and abandoned cottages there. In the past few years, Sean created a series of work exploring Amish quilt patterns and another series devoted to his obviously loved two yellow labs.  Due to the response he received from that series, Sean does commissioned portrait work of a variety of dog breeds, always attempting to capture each dog's individual personality, character, and soul.

Sean recently opened Dog Tired Studio and Gallery in Vergennes and offers private classes along with his art gallery for the dog lover.
