$500 scholarship towards a full year for 2007-2008.  The West End Synagogue Hebrew School is an afternoon school for Jewish learning for students in grades Pre-K throught 7.  We seek to instill in a our students a love of Judaism and Jewish culture, and provide a solid grounding in Hebrew language, Jewish skills and celebration, prayer and spirituality, values and ethics, Jewish history, and text.  West End Synagogue, a Reconstructionist congregation, is dedicated to the continual exploration of Jewish life, in all its richness and diversity.  Our mission is to develop, nurture and transmit a Reconstructionist approach to Judaism by building an intellectually challenging, spiritually vibrant and mutually supportive community.
