From September 1st until December 31st 2007, the NYC taxi fleet will take to the streets in hand-painted floral designs - "Garden in Transit" - painted by tens of thousands of kids in the biggest teamwork project happening anywhere!  With the help of thousands of adult volunteers, the painting sessions will take place over the next 6 months in schools, hospitals, and community institutions.  "Garden in Transit" may be the most ambitious community collaboration and public art project in New York City history.  As part of this groundbreaking motivational art, education, and creative therapy project, thousands of kids will be painting vibrant flowers -- symbolizing joy, life, beauty, and inspiration -- on adhesive weatherproof panels that will be applied to the hoods, trunks and/or roofs of thousands of New York City taxis.  Here's where you come into this....You and your child along with lots of your invited pals (any combo of adults and kids - up to 50 participants total!) will have a private painting session at the "Garden In Transit" studio in NYC. Includes 4 commemorative baseball caps and 2 signature flower watches (his/hers).Must arrange session ASAP.
