"Stan The Man" Musial had one of the all time great careers in Major League Baseball. He played with the St Louis Cardinals form 1940 to 1963 where he had a career batting average of a phenomenal, .331. He is still tied for the most All Star games with 24 and is second in the MVP awards with a total of 3. Stan led the National League in batting average for 7 years and had the highest on base percentage in the league for 6 years. He had a career total 3,630 base hits. He ironically had 1,815 at home and 1,815 hits on the road. He served his country in the Navy in 1945. He is retired and resides in St Louis where he is still a sports legend.
