Willie Mays, know as "The Say Hey Kid", played in the Major League from 1951 to 1973.  The Hall of Famer is tied for the most All Star Game appearances with 24.  He is fourth on the all time home run leaders with 660 and third on total bases with 6,066. Willie is also only of four players to ever hit more than 500 home runs and 3,000 total base hits.  He accomplished all of his great feats even though he was drafted into the Army during the height of his career where he spent his time at Fort Eustis in Williamsburg, Virginia.  He played with the Giants and made the move to San Francisco with the Giants.  He finished his career back in New York as a met.
