Enjoy the beauty and class of the Portland Symphony Orchestra (PSO) for their final Pops performance of the 2007-2008 season. The final performance for the PSO Pops this year is Rumba Sinfonica with Tiempo Libre conducted by Robert Moody and features guest ensemble Teimpo Libre. There are two shows the first on Saturday, April 26 at 8pm and the second on Sunday, April 27 at 2:30pm.
Robert Moody make his PSO debut as Music Director Designate with this sissling program featuring music with South American flabor, including works by "tango king" Astor Piazzolla, and the fascinating "Rumba Sinfonica," commissioned specially for Cuban ensemble and symphony orchestra.
