In September 1997, Stephen Freese and Nathaniel Getchell opened Portland Pie Company (PPC), a take-out business specializing in premium gourmet pizza with flavored pizza dough. The original dough flavors are Original Basil, Garlic, Wheat, Beer and Sun Dried Tomato-Basil.

When you order from Portland Pie, you can build your own pizza or order one of their specialty pizzas like the popular Harbor Master with Red sauce, sliced chicken smothered in BBQ sauce, caramelized red onions and smoked bacon woven in 3 blend cheese. They also offer salads, sandwiches and several vegetarian selections.
