Margaret Smith of Randolph, Maine started making beach bags and totes as a hobby in the 1940's, which eventually led to the establishment of the Margaret Smith Co., producing bags and totes of high quality in novelty prints featuring floral and nature patterns.

This blue tote is 11½" tall, 8" wide and 6" deep and is from the 2007 collection.
