Located in a lovely and historic neighborhood of Santa Barbara, The Simpson House bed and breakfast is private and secluded, set behind tall hedges in an acre of English gardens. Mature oaks, magnolias, fountains and numerous sitting areas dot the expansive lawns. This historic landmark Victorian estate is considered one of the most distinguished homes of its era in Southern California. It features the elegant 1874 Victorian home, restored 1878 barn and three garden cottages.
A full gourmet vegetarian breakfast is included, as well as an evening Mediterranean hors d'oeuvres buffet, featuring local wines. Afternoon refreshments include dessert and tea selections.
Enjoy lunch or dinner at the creative, authentic Italian restaurant Olio e Limone (www.olioelimone.com). The restaurant's wine cellar has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence five years in a row.
Special Instructions
The Simpson House Inn requires a two-night minimum for Saturday nights. This gift certificate can be applied to your two night stay if you wish.
The gift certificate for Olio y Limone is for $150 and can be used for either lunch or dinner.
Gift certificates may be picked up at the Mothers Guild Cottage Wednesday, May 23 through Friday, May 25 between the hours of 11am and 3pm, or mailed to the buyer.
