Did you really enjoy working on the student council at your school? Perhaps you should consider a career as an elected official!
Come to Franfort and shadow Crit Luallen, Kentucky's only female officer. She was elected the Commonwealth of Kentucky's 47th Auditor of Public Accounts in November 2003. In 2007 she was re-elected with nearly 60% of the vote.
Crit will talk to you about the myriad of jobs you can hold (legislative aides, campaign staff, field representatives, communications aides, etc.) and give you a tour....you never know what will happen on a day in Frankfort!
And, maybe someday you will be the next governor of Kentucky or Indiana!
Special Instructions
This item is for a two-hour job shadowing experience that will be followed by lunch and more talk. This job shadow will take place in Frankfort, KY.
Children must be 12 years of age or older to participate. A chaperone is recommended for children between the ages of 12-18. This job shadowing experience is good through January 1, 2009.
A certificate will be mailed to the winner.
