The family that clays together ... A 5-session workshop on clay building & ceramics for a parent/child pair. Parent and child plan, develop and work on their creation together. Classes usually held on Mondays, 6:00-7:30 pm. at Hartley House, 413 West 46th St. (between 9th and 10th Aves.) in a little art studio located in the backyard and complete with kiln. Instructors are professionally trained artists and art therapists. Hartley House offers a wide range of academic and recreational activities to the diverse Hell's Kitchen community and provides essential social services to those in need. It's also a great place to throw a really mean pot.
