This stunning photograph of the Maoping village in Leishan, Guizhou (毛坪 - 贵州省雷山县) was taken by Veronica Hu in 2005. Hu took the shot during her time as a participant in Yale-China's Service Internship Program. The program gives Yale students the opportunity to spend a summer exploring Chinese culture while performing valuable service work for non-profit, non-governmental organizations and educational institutions in mainland China and Hong Kong. The program also seeks to pair Yale students with their Chinese counterparts to work together at internships in both China and New Haven, Connecticut. The photograph is a 10"x8" color image.
