This is a reproduction of a Chinese antique-style international chess set.  Attractive case and board (made of wood and leather).  Chess pieces are figurines in traditional Chinese dress.  Chess board and outer case include pairs of dragon and phoenix paintings.  Well-wishing "fu lu shou" ( 福禄寿; happiness, wealth, and longevity) c haracters also painted on outside case.  Case closes up and easy to carry with traditional style metal buckle and handle.
