Description

The Old Town of Lijiang, Yunnan province, shown in this photo taken by John Smagula, is a dazzling maze of restored wooden buildings featuring the architecture of the local minority group called the Naxi. The photograph is a 10"x6.75" color image.  Photograph comes with a custom-cut white mat for an 11"x14" frame.  Frame not included.

John Smagula was a Yale-China Law Fellow from 2000-2002 at Sun Yat-Sen University in Guangzhou and Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, as a part of the Yale-China Association's Law Fellows Program. The program sends young, Mandarin-speaking U.S.-trained attorneys to China to teach courses on U.S. and international legal practices and standards at Chinese law schools. Yale-China Law Fellows have also helped to pioneer the field of clinical legal education in China.
