Veteran venture capitalist Gerald Chan has been investing successfully in China in manufacturing, the internet, media and biotech companies for over fifteen years. Several companies that Gerald invested in have become billion-dollar, Nasdaq-listed companies. Gerald will take you to dinner and share with you his experience of living and investing in China for the past fifteen years.

Gerald is currently a board member of Hang Lung Group as well as several biotechnology companies including Metacure, Critical Biologics, and Vaccine Technologies Inc. He is a trustee of Fudan University in Shanghai and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
The Morningside Foundation, of which Dr. Chan is a Director, has been a generous supporter of Yale-China's work at Xiuning Middle School in Xiuning, Anhui.
