Description
Oakland East Bay Symphony (OEBS) was founded in July 1988, when musicians from the former Oakland Symphony and the Oakland Symphony League joined together to form a new orchestra.
In September, 1990, Michael Morgan was named OEBS Music Director and began guiding the Symphony in the musical and philosophical direction it pursues today.
The Symphony offers a wide range of symphonic music, not limited to the traditional classic repertoire, in order to reach a much broader audience.
The Oakland East Bay Symphony brings together the talents and resources of diverse artistic groups from within the community. Whenever possible, we encourage the participation of Oakland's ballet, opera, choral and theatrical groups in collaborative performances. These organizations join together to promote a lively arts environment, and entertain a wide range of audiences.
This auction includes Two (2) Orchestra Seat Tickets in Rows NN-VV to One 2007-2008 Concert (choice of November 2007-April 2008-, excluding May 2008) at the Paramount Theatre.
