The winning bidder (and two of your colleagues or friends) of this special auction item will be joining San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris for a delicious lunch for four (4) at Zuppa Restaurant.

In December 2003, Kamala D. Harris was elected as the first woman District Attorney in San Francisco's history and the first African American woman in California’s history to hold the office. Inaugurated on January 8, 2004, DA Harris is bringing San Franciscans a “smart on crime” approach – prosecuting crime with resolve while remaining committed to rehabilitation and preserving civil liberties.

Zuppa Restaurant, located near 4th & Brannan in the South of Market district of San Francisco, is known for its wonderful Italian cuisine. At Zuppa, the focus is on fresh, organically-raised produce as well as naturally and humanely raised meats and poultry.

Restaurant owner/chef Joseph Manzare honed his skills, and his personal style, at such notable restaurants as L'Orangerie (under chef Jean-Francois Mettinger) and Spago (with Wolfgang Puck) in Los Angeles, 44 at the Royalton in New York, Granita in Malibu, San Dominica in Italy, and Postrio in San Francisco. Manzere and his wife opened Globe in San Francisco and Venice Beach, and now bring their considerable talents to Zuppa.
