Description

The Bracelet is a simple yet elegant symbol reminiscent of the MIA/POW bracelets worn during the 1960s and 1970s.
This original cuff style Bracelet, donated to ALRP by the Until There's A Cure Foundation and designed by Isabella Geddes Marquise da Filicaia and manufactured in Italy, is a 1/4-inch band with a raised AIDS ribbon on the side.
Inside are two small plaques, one inscribed with "Until There's A Cure®" and the other left blank, allowing individuals to personalize The Bracelet.

A symbol which serves as a bridge uniting people to fight HIV/AIDS, The Bracelet is designed to increase awareness and to help people recognize that anyone,"man, woman, or child", can be infected and that it is up to each of us to be compassionate, understanding, and responsible.

By bidding on and wearing this lovely bracelet, you will be supporting both ALRP and the Until There's A Cure Foundation in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Makes buying yourself a beautiful piece of jewelry totally guilt-free.
Also makes a great gift!

This is a Live Event Item.
