Circulating waiters elegantly dressed in starched white butler’s jackets will serve hors d’oeuvres on large platters prepared by Left Bank, the Bay Area’s premier French brasserie. A selection of nine different premium wines from throughout California will be poured.
Passengers will leave the ship with a richer appreciation of which wines to select from particular regions to best complement different foods.

The Foggy Bridge Wine Cruise is the vision of San Franciscan John Kontrabecki, an international businessman and vineyard owner. With a love of fine wine, great food, and history, John saw a need for a luxurious and educational wine and culinary experience. “There’s nothing else like it on the Bay,” says John. “The only thing better would be having your own yacht, with your own wine expert and chef aboard.”
This auction item includes two (2) Complimentary Tickets for a Foggy Bridge Wine Cruise on the San Francisco Bay, to be used in the 2007 calendar year. It is suggested that you dress as if you are spending Sunday morning with the President on his yacht. For gentlemen, jackets are suggested. You will be a guest on a restored naval vessel with pitched teak decks and steel stairs. For footwear, safety and comfort are more important than style. You will be at sea. Don’t forget the sun block and a hat. Extra layers of clothing are advisable.
