The Knox County Farm Bureau invites you to visit their community as a guest at the  Red Fox Country Inn, a Bed & Breakfast located on 15 rolling acres in scenic Central Ohio.  It was originally built in 1830's to house travelers on the Danville-Amity Wagon road and later became a farm home.  Local lore suggests that the barn roof was finished the day the Civil War ended.  Located 1000 feet from the road, near a spring that served as its water source, the Inn offers a quiet, unique and relaxing vacation or weekend experience. The Inn features five guestrooms, one on the first floor, and four on the second floor, each with its own private bath. Guests are encouraged to relax on the scenic front porch and enjoy the view while you listen to the birds sing and watch the Amish neighbors drive by.  Or you can make use of the sitting room on the second floor where you will find games, puzzles, books, & movies. Your stay includes a full breakfast, served in our spacious new banquet center. The surrounding area offers golf, canoeing, fishing, skiing, hiking & bike trails, and horseback riding.  There are many orchards, farm markets, festivals, fairs, antique and specialty shops nearby.  The Inn is within a short travel distance to the Amish Community, Mohican State Park, Roscoe Village, Malabar Farm, Kingwood Center, the Longaberger basket factory, the National Heisey Glass Museum and several colleges.
