The 12th annual ESPN Winter X Games to be held at Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado for a seventh consecutive year is scheduled for Thursday, January 24 through Sunday, January 27, 2008. Wednesday, January 23 will serve as the elimination day of competition that is open to the public. All Winter X Games competitions will take place at the resort's Buttermilk Mountain.
