8.5" round kiln formed glass plate with a beautiful scrolled wrought iron stand. The stand has the option of being hung on the wall also. Two of the three layers of glass were fused together first, giving it a 3D effect and then fused with a final piece of firelight white glass. I then slumped the round disc into a ceramic mold at my studio, Hope Hollow Creations, forming a plate. Some of the glass I used was given to me by a very generous couple who had attended a class at the Vinery and the mold used for the slumping was lent to me by Carol, a staff member of The Vinery Stained Glass Studio at 4317 W. Beltline Highway at Seminole.
