Description
The Ephraim Faience Pottery artists create hand-thrown, hand-decorated art pottery in their rural Wisconsin studio. Inspired by the style and philosophy of the Arts and Crafts movement, their earthenware vessels are decorated with motifs and colors drawn from nature. The Indian Paintbrush Vase is an experimental, smaller version of a piece that will appear in Ephraim's upcoming catalog which is due to be released in July. This piece is approximately 8.25" h x 4.50"w and was designed, thrown and sculpted by potter Ken Nekola and glazed by decorator John Raymond. The foot of the piece bears the studio's 2007 mark, Ken Nekola's signature and an impressed "E" designating the piece as experimental.
