This clock's case was donated in several pieces so you can imagine my surprise when I glued it together and hung the pendulum that the clock started to work. I won't guarantee it keeps time but it has a very soothing "tic tic". I did a little research and it was manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Company in New York between 1879 and 1930. It looks like it is made of ash or oak and has a painted or etched glass case front. It still has its original wind up key.
