After serving 13 years as chief meteorologist at WLVI-TV in Boston, Wankum joined WCVB in 2006. He is recognized with eight regional Emmy Awards during his tenure at WLVI and has contributed to weather reports for the Boston Herald, Community Newspaper Company's daily and weekly publications, and the local airwaves.
