Micah lebrun was born june 14, 1976 in palm springs, california. growing up in the coachella valley, micah spent his childhood building forts, shooting guns and doing chores. an inherent daydreamer, Micah used those eight hour days at school to let his well-versed imagination run wild. he honed this imagination by drawing his way through school for twelve years. Upon graduating, determined on committing art with his life, micah took up painting immediately. His interest in the arts brought him through transportation design at the art center in pasadena, ca. unsatisfied with a future in design, he experimented vigorously with many forms of drawing and paint media. developing an overall, vivid punctuation that became lebrun's style, he drew from traditional art forms, graffiti, design, pop, modern, contemporary and whatever else he could manipulate. As his interest in art became a deep passion, micah comfortably labeled himself a fine artist and moved to san francisco in 1998. leaving the academy of art after his first semester, micah has since been living a fulfilling life as a self-taught artist.
