Description

"If you live in Atlanta, they ask you what you do. If you live in Athens, they'll ask you where you went to school. In Savannah, we ask, "What would you like to drink." Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt This literary reference defines why Savannah is a little different, and is a well kept secret of the South. This unique City is full of culture, is GLBT friendly, and is the epitome of a place to get away. Your trip includes the 3 night stay use of a 2 bedroom furnished condo including parking in the Historic District, 2 blocks from the river. Pat and Steve Cook are your hosts, and if you like, you have use of their beach on Tybee Island.

The package includes gift certificates from the B Matthews Eatery for breakfast, and the Firefly Café for lunch. Dan Gleason, owner of Urban Cargo has thrown in 2 tour tickets and a cook book; so stop in and see him, and Frankie the Cat who keeps an eye out over Oglethorpe Square. Drop yourselves onto the grass of one of Savannah's many squares (like a DC traffic Circle) and pull out your autographed copy of "When Elvis Met the Dalai Lama" by local writer Murray Silver. He will also like to meet you, so contact him and have coffee. No trip is complete without a few souvenirs, so we've tossed in 2 coffee mugs from Clary's and some postcards complete with postage! Escape to this gem of the Coastal South.

This is a Live Event Item.
