Description

This fine pair of prints signed by the artist, Danny Dennis, who was born into the Frog Clan of the Tsimshian Nation in 1951. He is from the Gitksan village of Kitwanga. Danny began his artistic career in 1978, with the release of his first limited edition print.

Danny is a self-taught artist. Although he has no formal training, he was inspired by master artists Francis Williams and Robert Davidson. Danny has exhibited in galleries Germany, Canada, and the United States. A multi-media artisan, Danny works in gold, silver, and ivory, and he produces silkscreen prints.

Danny is one of the rare Northwest Coast artists who produces original paintings. Unique to Danny's art are the free-flowing lines capturing the expression of freedom, and the infinite possiblities of where a person's spirit can lead them.

These prints, striking in black and white with accents in deep green and red, representing tales of the Raven are framed in black and  measure about 8 x 12 each.

This is a Live Event Item.
