This is a large* red, black and white Neo-Expressionist oil by New York artist, Howard Kuh.  His work is to be found in the permanent collections of the Norfolk Museum of Fine Arts, the Evansville Museum of Arts and Science, the Tweed Gallery of the Minneapolis Museum, and Perdue University Museum, among other.  He is represented by the Gertrude Stein Gallery, W. 57th Street in Manhattan.

This work and others by the artist come to auction through early acquistion by the Raphan family.
